Svenska Disco Kyrkan is a club concept by DJ Mika Snickars & Kool DJ Dust, a DJ/producer duo from Stockholm, Sweden. The club pops up at different venues regularly. Beats+Breaks, Soul, Funk, Synth, Disco + Wave from 70's, 80's & beyond, Sweden produced only. Svenska Disco Kyrkan as a concept, was founded 2013 when both Mika & Daniel were booked as DJs at the hip hop festival Vanguard in Copenhagen. They where booked separately but came up with the idea the week before to DJ b2b and only play Swedish funk and breaks. Mika Snickars is a turntablist/DJ (started 1982 in school discos) re-edit/mixer and founder of Snickars Records Music Productions, record store & label since 1995. His DJ style originates from Hip-Hop and has developed throughout the years by working many different types of crowds from youth centre discos, early rave scene, scratch turntablist and disco / house parties. Daniel Savio is a Swedish electronic musician, composer and DJ. He is recognized as the originator of the genre term skweee, describing the sparse electronic music style initially released on Scandinavian record label Flogsta Danshall. With their release of the single "The Bubble Bump" in 2006, the label also debuted Daniel Savio's solo material, which can be found on several different labels such as House of Wisdom
