Kassettludde

Kassettludde is a boundary-pushing artist who works with cassette tapes and vintage tape players as both tools and raw material. His music is heavily influenced by what would later evolve into techno and house. Above all, electro and disco are sampled into gritty tape loops that make it impossible for hips to lie. With one foot in sound art and the other in the physical realm, he creates works that genuinely resonate. It’s about nostalgia, and how time can be heard, not just seen. Kassettludde är en gränsöverskridande konstnär som jobbar med kassettband och gamla bandspelare som både redskap och råmaterial. Musiken har starka influenser av det som skulle senare bli techno och house. Framför allt elektro och disco samplas till hårda band-loopar som stoppar höfterna från att ljuga. Med en fot i ljudkonst och en i det fysiska skapar han verk som känns på riktigt. Det handlar om nostalgi och hur tid kan höras, inte bara ses.
