“Once we left the city our perception of the three dimensions started to shift again. As rectangular shapes became more and more rare, the paths of our vision became more round and smooth, following forms which had developed through growth rather than erection. Soon we would be working in the gap between these zones, on old layers of sediment, under the open sky, with the rustling of the leaves. It suddenly became apparent. Whatever structure we would bring into this world, it had to pulse in both directions. Not echoing the stale and rigid attitude of walls and plans. Could it be possible to build a space without a singular purpose? Like a hole through which the wind whistles, a crack from which a flower grows, or an underwater cave solemnly gargling with the ebbs and flows of the tide.”

Soluppgång, zenit, solnedgång

I tre faser efter solens gång tar olika ritualer form i en skulptural installation inspirerad av naturens element och krafter.

Ett samarbete mellan konstnärerna Emilie Palmelund och Freja Björnberg.
