CAYOOTEE

CAYOOTEE (pronounced: Cutie) is a Danish artist, DJ and producer. She alternates between her love for House Music and Bass Music. She especially loves to play: Chicago house, late 90’s, French touch, but am not shy of surprising and mixing things up. When she focuses on Bass Music it includes a variety of subgenres such as: UK bass, breaks, jungle and footwork, preferably at 160 bpm or above in her mixes. In both contexts, she has an ear for original and danceable sounds. CAYOOTEE has loved electronic music since she was a little girl, mesmerized by Daft Punk's "Around The World" music video playing on MTV. Some neural pathways wired in her brain, and she has never looked back, always having a sweet spot for the music produced in that era. She later on became friends with DJs and ravers in the Aarhus area, getting introduced to new genres and throwing parties herself in her late teens. When she turned 30, she set herself an ultimatum to take DJing seriously or shelve the dream. With her determination and cute demeanor, she is now a household name on the Danish underground DJ scene. Since her DJ debut in 2020, she has played at several Copenhagen clubs, including Jolene, Baggen, Motopol, Ved Siden Af, Culture Box and Den Anden Side. She has also played at Klub22, Volume Village and Super in Århus, Inkonst in Malmö and Renate in Berlin.
